BTS officially announced their 2026 world tour, and with that came a flood of information across different platforms. To make things easier, this post is me compiling the official ticketing details, adding context, and pointing out what’s genuinely important so you don’t get caught off guard.

Before anything else, I need to say this upfront. There is an official help page released by BigHit and Ticketmaster that explains the entire process step by step. I strongly recommend reading it fully.

BTS 2026 World Tour Overview
This tour is BTS’s first full-group world tour since before enlistment and it’s clearly planned on a massive scale. It runs through 2026 into early 2027 and covers Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia. Most shows are in large venues or stadiums, which already tells you demand is going to be intense everywhere, not just in a few cities.

Now, let’s talk tickets, because this is where most confusion is happening.
For North America and Europe, there are two main ticket sale phases. The first is the ARMY Membership Presale, and the second is the General Sale. It’s important to understand that these are separate phases, and missing one does not automatically mean you’ve lost your chance.

Presale exists to give ARMY Membership holders earlier access. It does not mean all tickets disappear during presale. Companies and ticketing agencies do hold tickets for general sale, and many people successfully buy tickets during that phase. So if you don’t have a membership or presale doesn’t work out, there is still a legitimate opportunity during general sale.
That said, the period between presale and general sale is where things can get risky. This is when resale listings spike, prices inflate quickly, and scalpers take advantage of panic buying. If you’re shopping during that window, be cautious. Prices during official general sale are almost always more reasonable than resale prices that appear immediately after presale.
You can check out this blog on where to buy tickets after general sales.
ARMY Membership Presale Explained
One thing that needs to be very clear is that there are no presale codes being emailed out. That system is no longer how Hybe ticketing works. Everything is now tied to your Weverse ARMY Membership and whether your account is properly verified before the deadline.
Presale Registration/Verification date: January 13th - January 18th
Presale Ticket Drop: January 22nd - January 23rd
General Sale: January 24th

If you have an ARMY Membership but do not complete the verification process during the stated period, you will not have access to presale. If your membership is expired, same outcome. This is not something you can fix on presale ticket drop day.
The official BigHit & Ticketmaster help page explains this in detail, including how verification works and what happens if you miss it. Please read that section carefully.

In simple terms, here’s what the process looks like. You need an active ARMY Membership on Weverse.

During the verification window, you link that membership to your ticketing account. Once that window closes, no changes can be made. On presale day, eligible accounts automatically get access. There is no code to enter and no separate email link.

The deadlines matter more than the actual ticket sale day. The verification window usually closes before presale even begins, which is why waiting until the last minute is risky. This is one of those situations where assuming you can “figure it out later” will cost you your chance.
The Types of Army Membership
For presale specifically, there are very clear limits that matter.
During presale registration, you can only register for up to three locations. Not three per day, not three per membership type. Three total location per email. If you’re registering for North America shows, you can select up to three North America cities. You cannot exceed this limit under any circumstances, even if your email is linked to both a US and a Global membership.

If you have a Global Army Membership, you may also register for up to three international cities in Europe and the UK. This means your city choices should be intentional. Pick locations you can realistically attend rather than spreading your chances too thin.
Membership type also matters depending on the region.
For US, Canada, and Mexico shows, both US Membership and Global Membership are eligible. If you hold both, the system will validate your US membership number automatically.
For Europe and UK shows, only Global Membership is eligible. A US-only membership will not work for European dates.
What You Should Do Right Now
If you’re serious about buying tickets, here’s what I genuinely recommend doing as soon as possible:
- Check that your ARMY Membership is active and not close to expiring
- Make sure your name on Weverse matches your ticketing account exactly
- Complete the membership verification the moment it opens
- Log into your ticketing account early and save your payment details
- Confirm your email address and phone number are verified

Every single one of these steps is also explained on the official help page, which is why I keep pointing you back to it.
Personally, I think this system is better than the old presale code chaos, but it’s much less forgiving. It rewards people who read instructions and prepare early, and it completely shuts out anyone who skips steps or misses deadlines. There’s no backup option if you forget.

One last reality check. Presale does not guarantee tickets. It just gives you earlier access. A lot of seats will still go quickly. That said, skipping presale does not guarantee disappointment, so don't panic.
This BTS tour is a huge moment. Seven members back together, new music, and a global run that’s clearly meant to be historic. If seeing them live matters to you, the most important thing you can do right now is read the official guide carefully and set up your accounts properly.
I’ll keep updating this post as more details drop, but for now, this is everything ARMYs actually need without the noise 💜
